I'm Marisol Quintero, and this is my show. I learned to crochet on a couch next to a wood-cabinet radio that only picked up two stations, so every blanket I make still gets a soundtrack. Crochet Obsessed is where those patterns get written down properly, one round at a time.
Every pattern goes out the way I'd read it on air: short lines, a count at the end of each round, and a plain warning wherever I dropped a stitch myself. When a pattern says two weekends, it means two of my weekends, with breaks for tea and the late show. More about this blog.

Yes. Every pattern is complete on its page: materials, abbreviations, rounds, counts, assembly and the fixes for the usual snags. Nothing is held back behind a sign-up or a second page.
US terms throughout. A single crochet here is the short stitch, a double crochet is the tall one. If you learned in UK terms, the abbreviation list on each pattern shows the swap.
Finished items, yes, at markets or online. A credit to this site is appreciated but never required. The written patterns themselves stay here and are not for resale or republishing.
It's whatever is on my hook the week the page goes out. Usually the newest pattern, sometimes an older one that deserves a second airing because the weather turned.
Mostly worsted-weight cotton for coasters and hangers, and worsted or bulky acrylic-wool blends for throws and cushions. Every pattern lists the weight and the amount, so any brand in that weight will behave the same.
Every pattern page gives a rough time in weekends rather than hours, because hours depend on your hands and how often the kettle goes on. A coaster set is an evening; a full ripple throw is two unhurried weekends.
